Accelerating Healthcare Data Platform Onboarding with Automated CI/CD 

A healthcare data platform serving multiple client organizations faced significant challenges in onboarding new clients and deploying changes across environments. Although client data differed, the underlying stored procedures, transformation logic, and Gold-layer aggregations were largely similar.  

The existing SQL Server-based process relied heavily on manual onboarding and deployment, typically taking over one week per client. Anblicks introduced a GitHub-based CI/CD framework combined with Jinja templatization, enabling standardized client onboarding, automated deployments, controlled environment promotion, and version-controlled infrastructure.  

The modernized approach reduced client onboarding from over one week to approximately one day, representing an approximately 80% efficiency improvement, while also reducing change propagation from 3+ days to hours.
